Let me begin by saying there is no means to give 1/2 stars on the site. If there was, I would give Grandpa's 2 1/2 stars. Sauce and cheese were OK, but I have two issues. First off the crust was way too thin. I know there are thin crust aficionados as well as people who prefer deep dish or thicker crust. The crust on this pizza was virtually non-existant. Just about the limpest pizza I have ever handled. Secondly.....the price. I asked about one of the many slices they have prepared for public offering. The one I chose was with diced chicken. The asking price for one thin slice with a sprinkling of diced chicken was $8.25, wow. I settled for a plain slice for $3.25. In my book, that's a lot of money for a subpar slice in NYC.

They have decent pizza and other food. Staff is friendly enough. Very good downside though. I will pay for a good slice of pizza but I had to stop coming here for price alone.

Large cheese pizza. Good just enough cheese, thin crispy crust not too oily.

Grandpa's pizza food and customer service is always exceptional. The food is always freshly made and delicious. My husband I love that it is a locally owned business Update: the prices have increased exponentially in the past month or so and now we have to order from slice rather than directly from the restaurant. We will not pay $35 for a large grandpas pizza when it was $27.99 a month ago, this is ridiculous price gauging
